Up-scaling of basic sanitation

The Managing Director – Mombasa Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited; Mr. Anthony Njaramba, at Msikiti Nuru, West mainland on an inspection visit of the newly upgraded Safisan toilets. This marks the tail- end phase of the construction of these upgraded toilets; an initiative expected to benefit more than two hundred (200) households in Msikiti Nuru area.

The Project is funded by Water Sector Trust Fund ( WSTF) in conjunction with Up-scaling of Basic Sanitation for the Urban Poor (UBSUP) under the Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor ( WSUP), and is aimed at enhancing sanitation and good hygiene and disposal behavior for all residents of Mombasa County; starting with our grassroot areas.
